Great blog post!
Interesting to note the amount of Brownlow votes for defenders and forwards compared to the midfielders, it does indeed raise the issue of the Brownlow being an inherently bias award.
Bruce Mcavaney is probably on his way out of hosting these events as he was a bit cringeworthy, but Dustin Martin presented well on the podium and is a man of few words.
The grand final being played at the MCG perhaps aided in Adelaide's downfall as many people are questioning the heavy favouring that Victorian teams gain come september, this being said this finals series was a bit of a let down, only one game came down to the wire and the grand final especially was done by the end of the third term.

I suggest you guys reformat the look of the blog itself. The page itself just comes off as very bland, and a better looking page may bring in more viewers. Great blogs though!

It would appear the writer is wearing a rather large Essendon hat here. What proof is there that the correct amount of due diligence wasn't done by the Saints? What proof that it was done by Bulldogs & Roos? We don't know why these clubs dropped out of the race. Salary Cap perhaps. Due diligence may reveal some attitudinal problems and risks however highly unlikely it would show that Jake had sent a video purporting to show drug use and that the video would be shown on A Current Affair. Bombers have ripped off the Saints again with another one of their dodgy products. Hopefully they’ll refuse to do any dealings with Dildodorio in the future and let him wallow in the undisciplined cesspit that is the Jabbamarine Centre of Dankness.

Absolutely mate. I understand the importance of keeping a tidy budget while travelling, but I don't like to keep pennies too close to my chest. Money is for experiences just like that!

Whenever I head back there next I'd love to sit in the press box. I'd just try to spot as many Dodger Twitter scribes as I could! Understand the no barracking though - it's a pretty common rule throughout all sports worldwide and must say I agree. Nothing worse covering a game as a neutral than having 'homers' celebrating or cursing.

G'Day Paul. I was just going through some old e-mails and found a link to this article. No idea how I missed it before - my apologies!

Fantastic write-up! Since you wrote this piece, I visited the storied venue myself (although only on a stadium tour because we were too crappy to qualify for post-season play). It takes on a completely new dimension when you're there, doesn't it? I've seen it countless times on TV and in video games, but it's an awe-inspiring place when you visit in person.

I hope to get across for a few games next season. Thanks for sharing!

Australia will not host the world cup in my grandchildren's lifetime! You can have 25/1 about me being wrong. It has nothing to do with the merit of our bid campaign and everything to do with the voting regime. One vote for Australia ladies and gentlemen says it all and was no surprise to most. Sadly, geography, politics and dollars will always fail us.

Just for your interest, my nephew Lochie Pillar is riding in only his fifth race meeting tomorrow at Wangaratta and has four rides so far out of the six races. With a ride in race 3 on the horse he regularly works at track riding he has his best chance for his first win on horse 2, Bianbee and claims 4 kilos.
